On the way back from Red Bull Berm Burners in Richmond VA we decided to make a slight detour and hit up Shenandoah National Park. I have spent a little bit of time in Virginia in my travels but have never really gotten to explore it much. I always see and hear great things about Shenandoah so figured that being so close it would be the perfect time to venture over, check it out and relax.
Waking up on Sunday morning we planned to head to Skyline Drive and hit a day hike along the way with some stops at a few of the many overlooks. The ranger recommended a hike to Doyle's waterfall, few mile round trip hike that was worth fighting the humidity and heat. Seems like LJ and I are always finding these rad waterfalls....weird how that happens. Results were awesome and you can check the photos below to see how beautiful of a place this is. We will be going back for sure. Also, we have some film photos not yet developed from this trip. Check back for those.
